Today, we take the time to introduce this inspiring charity to the
members of our community, and to share how you can join us on our quest
to help children and young adults in need in the UK!

Games Aid is a UK-based video games charity that acts as an umbrella organisation to support smaller charities helping disadvantaged and disabled children and young people.
As the only fully democratic charity in the games industry, members of the gaming community propose and vote annually for the charities they wish to support.
In 2024, Games Aid made six donations of £30,000 each to Access Sport, AFK, Autistica, Game Therapy UK, and Solving Kids' Cancer. These donations support life-changing work for disadvantaged children and young people across the UK. The selection process for the 2025 charity election is now open. Games Aid Charity Selection 2025There are many ways you can help the charity raise funds. Here are four simple options to support Games Aid and the amazing work they do:

Donate directly to the charity by visiting their JustGiving page. Alternatively, you can create your own fundraiser for Games Aid and bring friends and family together for fun activities. Every contribution helps, and there’s no such thing as a small win when it comes to charity!

Support the charity by shopping on their eBay store. There’s something for everyone, and for every budget!

Shop media and games with Humble Bundle, and help Games Aid along the way! Visit the website and select Games Aid when the 'Choose Charity' option is available (see bottom-left corner).

In 2025 CineRPG CIC will continue to support the charity offering a set percentage of our annual income (with thanks to the CIC regulator), and will create multiple opportunities to pledge during the year.
In addition, we will be managing an annual fundraiser (JustGiving again) where we will promote our efforts and milestones along the way, offering our community members a chance to interact, share their stories and what Games Aid mean to them.
A link to the campaign will be featured at the bottom of our articles, in emails, and in video description for Youtube and Twitch content.
