CineRPG CIC and Chance & Counters have teamed up to launch Friends & Adventures, a free monthly event designed to help address loneliness and social isolation by bringing people together through games.
Kicking off on Monday 4th August ( 6 - 8 PM), and continuing on the first Monday of each month (same time), Friends & Adventures will offer a safe, welcoming space for anyone who might seek new friendship nd connection.
Participants can enjoy a free cup of tea or coffee, board games, and meet new people in a relaxed, safe, and inclusive environment.
This event is part of CineRPG’s ongoing mission to promote togetherness and support to individuals who may face barriers to accessing social, communal or cultural experiences. Inspired by the Marmalade Trust’s Loneliness Awareness Week campaign, Friends & Adventures is a simple but powerful act of connection.

“CineRPG CIC was founded to bring joy and connection back to communities through film, games, and storytelling” says Matt Gras, CEO of CineRPG CIC. “After seeing the amazing work of Marmalade Trust, and all the heartfelt response of Loneliness Awareness Week all around Bristol, we were inspired to play our part - we wanted to create something accessible and friendly, something that says - Come for a chat, stay for tea, and make new friends!”
Chance & Counters, known for its cosy setting and vast selection of board games, is proud to support this initiative by offering free access to its venue, and the support of their friendly staff towards this social initiative. Their shared values around community and inclusion make this partnership a natural fit.
