CineRPG CIC is proud to announce its new collaboration with All Set West as lead industry training facilitator.
Cara Bamford and Matt Gras have teamed up to co-create and facilitate the brand-new inclusive training programme that is now underway at The Bottle Yard Studios, as part of the All Set West initiative.
We Build An Inclusive Future For The Industry
The five week course is designed to welcome new and emerging professionals into the film and high-end television industry - whether they are stepping into the sector with no prior experience, fresh out of education or transitioning careers.
Participants benefit from direct access to production-ready training, film set visits, Q&A with industry professionals, 1-2-1 career coaching and mentoring, access to networking events, work placement opportunities and much more!
The programme equips entry-level workforce professionals with the skills, confidence, etiquette and long-term development strategy needed to build a rewarding career in scripted production (e.g. feature films and high end TV series).

A Skillful and Inclusive Workforce

All Set West is designed with inclusion and diversity at its heart. The initiative is leading the way in inclusive screen education by recognising the barriers many face when trying to enter the sector, and actively works to remove them through proactive community outreach, supportive learning environments, placements opportunities, mentorship, and tailored career advice.
'We’re here for anyone in the West of England who wants to build a career behind the camera. We believe everyone deserves the chance to do what they are truly passionate about. Greater diversity in the industry benefits everyone. We’re here to play our part in creating a fairer, more inclusive industry in the West of England and beyond.'
We are excited to see this commitment to EDI bring positive long term effects for the local industry and beyond, supporting representation of previously underserved talent that will be empowered to rise through all levels of production as our students grow into more senior, leadership roles.
All Set West is committed to supporting talent from low economic backgrounds, diverse cultural roots, disability, neurodiversity, gender identity - and all intersectionalities - as a strong advocate for equal opportunities in the industry.

Backed by the BFI and Bristol Film Agencies

All Set West is made possible thanks to the combined effort and vision of key industry stakeholders who are actively investing in the future of film and HETV in the West of England. We wish to extend our heartfelt thanks to:
The British Film Institute for supporting the initiative via the BFI Places Funds, awarding £245,000 to deliver All Set West and ensure that the regional production sector workforce is highly skilled and reflective of the population. With special thanks to Alex Roxton for her dedication to reduce skill gaps in the sector and create equal training opportunities for underserved talent of the South West.
Bristol City Council’s Film Services, for devising and delivering the All Set West package as a collaboration between its three teams, The Bottle Yard Studios, Bristol UNESCO City of Film and Bristol Film Office. Together they have provided the vision, passion, training workframe and community outreach. They have supplied the premises to host participants at the heart of the action at the Studios, whilst also engaging at every level about the importance of skills development for young people and local communities. Special thanks to Laura Aviles, Natalie Moore, Jane Coulter, Jenny Duffy, Katherine Nash and Tara Milne (pictured); their combined efforts are making All Set West an inclusive and supportive environment for all to thrive.
West of England Mayoral Combined Authority for supporting local residents to develop the skills they need to achieve their full potential, and supporting the employability of young professionals in Bristol and the wider region.
Finally, our local industry network, for engaging with the students during site visits, Q&As and networking events, and for providing a supportive environment to new entrants in the industry. See who they are here: https://allsetwest.co.uk/our-network/
